Makes about 3 dozen
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cups (1 stick) butter, softened
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a medium bowl. Beat sugar and butter in a large mixer bowl until well blended. Beat in pumpkin, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Drop by rounded spoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 350* oven for 15-18 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool on sheets for 2 minutes, transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Best if served while still warm.

Oatmeal Chocolate No Bake Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup cocoa
1 stick butter

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter and milk in a saucepan. On medium heat, bring to a boil for one full minute.Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter (optional), vanilla and oatmeal.
Drop by spoonful onto wax paper. Let cool for at least 30 minutes.

Heidi's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oven @ 375*
1 C butter
1/4 C sugar
3/4 C brown sugar
Cream together
Next, add
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Beat til fluffy
2 1/3 C flour
1 tsp soda
2 small or 1 large box instant vanilla pudding
1 small bag milk choc chips
1 C nuts (optional)
Bake about 8 minutes

Hershey's Mini Kiss Peanut Blossoms
1/2 C. shortening
3/4 C. creamy peanut butter
1/3 C. sugar
1/3 C. packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 C. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
*Extra sugar
1 3/4 C. (10 oz pkg) Hershey's Mini Kisses - Semisweet or Milk Chocolate
Heat oven to 375*. In large bowl, beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended. Add 1/3 C. sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add peanut butter mixture, beating until well blended. Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Immediately place 3 mini kisses on top of each cookie, pressing down slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks of melted butter
Mix together, roll into balls and chill
Melt in double boiler 1-6 oz. pkg. Nestles Bits, 1/2 stick parafin wax....dip balls into the hot sauce leaving a little of the peanut butter showing to create a "Buckeye" apperance

1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. In mixer beat butter, sugar and egg until fluffy. On low speed beat in sour cream and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture until well combined. Refrigerate until firm. Divide dough in half and roll out on floured surface. Cut out with cookie cutters.
Bake in a 375* oven for 10-12 min.
